Lego Guggenheim Museum
Lego had a go at modelling the New York Guggenheim Museum a couple of years ago (Lego set number 21004) however I don't think it is one of their better efforts, so I have decided to have a go:
What do you think? Do you prefer it to the official Lego version? Comments are always welcome.

Bow-Wow House in Lego!
What do you get the girl who has everything? A Bauhaus inspired Kennel for her dog of course! I saw this and had to try making it in LDD:

Mini East Beach Cafe!
Here is a smaller version of the East Beach Cafe done with LDD:
I managed to angle the model correctly on the base by using 2 small turntable parts which connect to the 2 right angled brackets:

Lego East Beach Cafe - interior detail
Here is a base with interior detail for the East Beach Cafe model. I have done the base in a similar style to Lego's "Architecture Series" of models:
Any comments appreciated.

East Beach Cafe - in Lego!
Ok, its time to come clean. My main reason for trying LDD (Lego Digital Designer) was to try and create a Lego model of an extraordinary building in my home town of Littlehampton, UK. It is a building which does divide opinion locally, but I love it. I walk past it most days as I promenade along the seafront, and every time I see it I can't help but see shapes which could easily be reproduced in Lego. It is called the East Beach Cafe, and was designed by the Heatherwick Studio:
It would be a daunting task to attempt to build it the traditional way with actual Lego bricks, but fortunately LDD makes it a more practical if still challenging build. After many hours, I have come up with this:
This is just the start really, as eventually I aim to add some interior detail, and to create a base for it to stand on. More on this project to come soon. Comments welcome.

Lego Church
I am not all religious, but I do like old English churches, so I designed this one in LDD. It is not based on any particular building, just an attempt to create a model of a typical parish church.
